INTRODUCTION TO ROBOTICS

Calling all Future Engineers! Explore the world of Robotics in this Introductory Course. No prior knowledge is necessary. Discover what robotics really is, and explore some of the basic components and technology. While this subject throws the doors wide open to imagination and creativity in engineering, it is also a great way to learn more about logic and systematic integration.

Students will learn about how to conceptualize and define a robotic process and to understand what type of sensing and actuation would be necessary to implement a particular automation process.

Utilizing LEGO Mindstorm components and other systems students will be able to apply some of the concepts in real life examples. Class work is done in student teams.
